Our Story

Hi, I'm Sandra and I'm the face behind TwoPot Posies.

TwoPot Posies came to life after I had to quit my full-time 9 to 5 job to raise my two beautiful children. I always had a love for flowers and gardening and when we bought our property in 2021 I was excited to be creating the garden of my dreams, filled with blooms and nature that would bring me and my family joy for years to come. In my first growing season I started off with some annual flowers and bare root plants that I found particularly pretty and I was able to pick flowers for my own home all season long.

One day I posted a picture of a bouquet I made on my garden Instagram with the caption that I wished I could do this for a living. One dear lady commented "Even a wee honesty stand maybe?" And this is how it all really began.

Just a simple comment and the whole dream was born. I started looking into options for flower stands, considered location, researched, studied, planned and bought seeds. A lot of seeds.

"Even a wee honesty stand maybe?"

So in September of 2023 I started sowing all of those seeds, with a lot of failure I must add, and continued doing so all winter long straight into April. The stand has been up and running since June 2024 and has been quite successful. Since then I have continued to expand TwoPot Posies with gift bouquets, seasonal subscriptions, DIY buckets and Ever Still fine art bouquet photography.

My academic background with a Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture and a Masters in Nature Conservation and Environmental Planning, is deeply influencing the way I cultivate flowers, blending design principles with sustainable practices. I’m committed to growing blooms that not only enhance our garden but also nurture the environment. Every flower here is grown with care, respect for nature, and a love for the land.

This whole journey has brought so much joy already and I'm really looking forward to what's to come of it in the next years. I hope you follow along for a peek into the life of a micro flower farm rooted in passion and purpose.

Meet the Team

Realistically speaking I'm the only one doing the flowers but it's not as much fun if you have to do it all on your own. I do sometimes enjoy my alone time in the garden, however having these 3 beautiful beings by my side when I'm working makes it all the more worth while. Not to forget the husband who wishes to stay anonymous.
